Website / Blog Ranking sites : Are they reliable any more ?

We all run after the ranking sites such as Alexa, Moz, Google Analytics & so on for a higher rank. Earlier these were the SEO techniques that were helping to raise the rankings. But now almost everyone has started charging a significant price. So my very simple question: Are they reliable anymore?

I am a businessman and in my opinion, if you pay, you will get higher ranks and if you don’t pay, you won’t get those rankings. There are many agencies in the market who are offering Twitter, FB and other Social media network followers against a price. Persons are there who offer YouTube views at an agreed cost.

Earlier Alexa was Free and highly reliable. But they made three categories and started charging a huge monthly figure.  The cost of a simple Alexa Rank of your site has now been DOUBLED at almost $20 per month, with many more limitations to be covered under various higher costs. Similarly, you have to pay $99 to $149 per month under two other categories, and the problem is that even for your Free Trial of 7 days, you have to furnish your Credit / Debit card details.

MOZ was also absolutely free, but now you have to choose MOZ PRO, and the four categories are available at $99 per month, $149 per month, $249 per month as well $599 per month. Again, you have to furnish your credit card details for a Free trial of 30 days.

Google Analytics is Free but the traffic it shows is nowhere near to the traffic & visits visible in your blogger dashboard. On the other hand, the Google Analytics premium is available at a monthly cost which is beyond the pocket of at least the Indian bloggers, i.e. $12,500 per month, $1,50,000 per annum.

Even for the basic Alexa & basic Moz you have to pay almost $120 a month, $1,440 for a year, which comes to approx Rs 1 lakh per annum. So bloggers, if you really want to earn out of your blog, you have to shell out as above, with a hope that it will have some impact on Google analytics.

My very simple question is still there. Are they reliable anymore? If not, then why all the Blogging Platforms rank their member bloggers on the basis of above criterion?

Status of .in Vs .com Blogspot Blogs ?

Please check if your .in blogspot blogs are appearing in Google ?  My .in blogspot blogs are not appearing in Google or any other search engine, for the last 2 to 3 days.

But while trying on various search engines, i found that, though my .in blogspot blogs were not at all appearing, but by using .com ( that we used earlier ), all the blogs were appearing, but with the dropped Alexa rankings.

Please revert with a comment.
Cheer up & keep on blogging !!!!!

24th July, 2017
Blogs are now appearing with both .com as well .in

How ‘The Bachelorette’ showed millions a different side of the Sikh faith

What happens when America’s best-known dating show meets one of its most-misunderstood religions?
“The Bachelorette” brought Sikhs into the spotlight Monday night. One of the finalists took Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay home to meet his estranged dad, a yogi and convert to the minority faith. People who identify as Sikh make up just a fraction of 1 percent of the population.
Sikh fans were nervous about the portrayal, which was teased in promotions as part of the drama between contestant Dean Unglert and his father, who he says emotionally abandoned him and became “eccentric” after his mother died. Before the episode, Dean took to Instagram with a heartfelt call for religious understanding.
“I’m asking for a favor: when I said my father was eccentric, I was not referring to his Sikh faith or the turban he wears on his head,” he wrote. “I’m not asking you to spare his feelings (or mine) but instead to be cognizant and accepting of the millions of people that belong to the Sikh community.”

House Of Card - Season 5

Frank Underwood is coming to India with the television premiere of House Of Cards Season 5 on Saturday, 3rd June, 5 PM onwards, only on Zee Café!

A review of the political series, "Home Coming of Terror", a tale of a pragmatic principal character who is freaking obsessed to achieve the zenith of success even by embracing immoral means. The scene commences, where a journalist is killed, while Frank (Kevin Spacey) and Claire Underwood (Robin Wright), try to manipulate the attack to quench the thirst of his narcissistic lust.

In a broaden horizon, it begins with a telecast, where Claire is saying, You have nothing to be Afraid of. We are here to protect you”.  She continues, “There’s a lot of noise out there, a noisy press that’s choosing to dwell on the past instead of what’s happening right now,”. But as soon as the story succeeds, it is revealed, that it was the deliberate recording of an election telecast.
The scene shifts to the American Congress, where a senate wants a debate on the actions of the President and his declaration of war on terror. But the reply he gets from the Frank was, “ I am on my way to the funeral of an American patriot. A good man. A husband. A father who was beheaded on American soil. And this chamber chooses to debate me.”
Even though the creator of the series, Beau Willimon is no more connected with the series, the first episode of the, House of Cards,  season 5, still looks as smart as earlier. It shows the President of the United States of America, as a strong and angry person, with no regard to the political values. The show almost matches with the working style of Donald Trump, the existing president of America.
Frank tries to overcome the growing popularity of his Republican rival Will Conway (Joel Kinnaman), and manipulates the situation, by waging a war against the terrorist organization ICO / ISIS, with the sole aim of creating fear in the general public so that he could retain his presidency in the coming elections.
It is a manipulative story of Frank Underwood's political passion and his longing to conquer presidency at any cost, alike Donald Trump. Deceitful traits of his inner self has caught the centre of attraction. He is truly an opportunity seeker, and much more concerned with his own reelection as the President. He notably exploits the issue of the insecurity of the people, in his own favour, just to repossess his popularity as well to keep on holding the power.
Frank Underwood is coming to India with the television premiere of House Of Cards Season 5 on Saturday, 3rd June, 5 PM onwards, only on Zee Café!You can view more details about the new series at  #HOConZCafe

India TV Mega Conclave – Samvaad 2017

It was truly a great day. A mega conclave – Samvaad 2017 was held at Taj Palace. It was organized by Mr. Rajat Sharma, of India TV. Time was just flying away in the presence of all the top and prominent leaders of the Bhartiya Janta Party. The occasion was the completion of three years of Modi Government.

No, I am not a member of BJP – not even a primary member. I try to remain absolutely apolitical and so never attend any of the political meets. But this event was organized by INDIA TV News channel and being widely connected with MEDIA, I got the invite.

It was a great opportunity to listen Rajat Sharma and many other top rated anchors while talking to Vijay Goel, Oweisi, Subramanyam Swami, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Smriti Irani, Nitin Gatkari, Rajnath Singh as well Amit Shah. It was my first time to view most of these leading personalities, face to face.

A great experience indeed. Smriti irani was too good in speaking with a whole lot of data. Nitin Gatkari was quite impressive. Though Rajnath Singh was a bit hesitant in speaking on certain issues related to Pakistan, Amit shah was truly comfortable and in complete charge.

One of the greatest information was shared by Mr Nitin Gatkari that by the 15th of August, both the outer ring roads, i.e. being constructed at the outskirts of Delhi, will be completed and Delhi will have the Pollution & Traffic congestion, lesser by almost half.

Enjoyed the Event, though it looked very difficult at the initial stages as the timings were 10am to 9pm, i.e. 11 hours at a stretch. But there was ample arrangement for Food as well Tea, coffee and so, everyone was enjoying the event with a great smile.

Lufthansa is more Indian than you think !

You may think like Indians, relax like Indians, eat like Indians, play like Indians, dance like Indians, as well fly like Indians, but still, you can not beat the Indians. In fact, you cannot even beat like the Indians, because you are not an Indian.

The Indian way of thinking is definitely a unique contributor to our success. Our thinking is truly based on our Traditions and values that we have got from our ancestors and that we start learning, even before our birth. Our thinking is based on the lessons that we have learnt from Geeta, Quran, Bible & Guru Granth Sahib.

Moreover, we are too fast in adopting all the modern techniques also. Truly, we the Indians are a great combination of our traditional values, as well the latest modern techniques available all around. That’s the reason, Indians are regularly visible in almost every part of the world, on the Top most positions.

For example, Satya Nadella - the CEO of Microsoft,  Indra Krishnamurthy Nooyi - the CEO of PepsiCo, Shantanu Narayen - the CEO of Adobe, Surya Mohapatra - the CEO of  Osborn Group, Ajay Banga - the CEO of Master Card, are amongst the Top most Indians worldwide.

Similarly Francisco D'Souza with Cognizant's global delivery, marketing and sales, Sanjay Mehrotra with San Disk, Dinesh C Paliwal with Harman International, Sanjay Jha with Motorola, Ravichandra Saligram with Richie Bros Auctioneers, are amongst the top notch Indians worldwide.

Even the Google has seven persons of the Indian origin of its prominent positions. The list is so big that it will be very difficult to note down all the names on a paper.

The above description clearly indicates about my ideologies also.  I love everything that belongs to Indian Culture, Indian traditions as well Indian values.

I faced a very tough situation in my life when we came to know that my father was suffering from the last stage of cancer and he had no more than a year to survive. These were only our Indian ideologies and values, that made all of us, to smile together, even in those critical moments, and that resulted in the enhancement of the life of my father by almost four years. Though he departed years ago, our eyes still become wet on thinking about him, but we have the relief, that he could survive for almost four and half years, even in that difficult situation.

We are truly the Proud Indians. In the same manner, Lufthansa has also become more Indian than you think. The minute you board, you get a pleasant voice in your ears saying NAMASTE. It has appointed 200 Indian Flight attendants, as Lufthansa has understood very well that there are no better hosts than Indians. While in the air, we are offered a truly Indian Meal, a cup of Garam Chai, along with the Bollywood Blockbusters, Indian radio channels as well the News papers in Hindi. Even you must try the LINK, to view and understand that there are many concerns, who have now become more Indian, than you think.
