B S Vohra with RJ Raunac on RED FM 63.5, BAJAATE RAHO

Though i am a regular on various TV channels for raising various social & civic issues, it was indeed a great opportunity, a great experience, while being LIVE on a Radio and that too the Top most FM channel : RED FM 93.5 Bajate Raho, alongwith the Top ranking RJ Raunac.

We had raised the issue of WaterLogging in Delhi in a different manner and it was covered by various TV channels & Print media. It was a surprise for me when i got a call from Rohan, saying that they want me in the Studio of REd FM for a live show with RJ Raunac. Indeed a great experience as i was Live on the Red FM for many days in continuation and the issue closed when we floated a Boat on the Delhi roads in the waterlogging due to a DJB burst.

House Of Card - Season 5

Frank Underwood is coming to India with the television premiere of House Of Cards Season 5 on Saturday, 3rd June, 5 PM onwards, only on Zee Café!

A review of the political series, "Home Coming of Terror", a tale of a pragmatic principal character who is freaking obsessed to achieve the zenith of success even by embracing immoral means. The scene commences, where a journalist is killed, while Frank (Kevin Spacey) and Claire Underwood (Robin Wright), try to manipulate the attack to quench the thirst of his narcissistic lust.

In a broaden horizon, it begins with a telecast, where Claire is saying, You have nothing to be Afraid of. We are here to protect you”.  She continues, “There’s a lot of noise out there, a noisy press that’s choosing to dwell on the past instead of what’s happening right now,”. But as soon as the story succeeds, it is revealed, that it was the deliberate recording of an election telecast.
The scene shifts to the American Congress, where a senate wants a debate on the actions of the President and his declaration of war on terror. But the reply he gets from the Frank was, “ I am on my way to the funeral of an American patriot. A good man. A husband. A father who was beheaded on American soil. And this chamber chooses to debate me.”
Even though the creator of the series, Beau Willimon is no more connected with the series, the first episode of the, House of Cards,  season 5, still looks as smart as earlier. It shows the President of the United States of America, as a strong and angry person, with no regard to the political values. The show almost matches with the working style of Donald Trump, the existing president of America.
Frank tries to overcome the growing popularity of his Republican rival Will Conway (Joel Kinnaman), and manipulates the situation, by waging a war against the terrorist organization ICO / ISIS, with the sole aim of creating fear in the general public so that he could retain his presidency in the coming elections.
It is a manipulative story of Frank Underwood's political passion and his longing to conquer presidency at any cost, alike Donald Trump. Deceitful traits of his inner self has caught the centre of attraction. He is truly an opportunity seeker, and much more concerned with his own reelection as the President. He notably exploits the issue of the insecurity of the people, in his own favour, just to repossess his popularity as well to keep on holding the power.
Frank Underwood is coming to India with the television premiere of House Of Cards Season 5 on Saturday, 3rd June, 5 PM onwards, only on Zee Café!You can view more details about the new series at  https://www.facebook.com/ZeeCafe.  #HOConZCafe

India TV Mega Conclave – Samvaad 2017

It was truly a great day. A mega conclave – Samvaad 2017 was held at Taj Palace. It was organized by Mr. Rajat Sharma, of India TV. Time was just flying away in the presence of all the top and prominent leaders of the Bhartiya Janta Party. The occasion was the completion of three years of Modi Government.

No, I am not a member of BJP – not even a primary member. I try to remain absolutely apolitical and so never attend any of the political meets. But this event was organized by INDIA TV News channel and being widely connected with MEDIA, I got the invite.

It was a great opportunity to listen Rajat Sharma and many other top rated anchors while talking to Vijay Goel, Oweisi, Subramanyam Swami, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Smriti Irani, Nitin Gatkari, Rajnath Singh as well Amit Shah. It was my first time to view most of these leading personalities, face to face.

A great experience indeed. Smriti irani was too good in speaking with a whole lot of data. Nitin Gatkari was quite impressive. Though Rajnath Singh was a bit hesitant in speaking on certain issues related to Pakistan, Amit shah was truly comfortable and in complete charge.

One of the greatest information was shared by Mr Nitin Gatkari that by the 15th of August, both the outer ring roads, i.e. being constructed at the outskirts of Delhi, will be completed and Delhi will have the Pollution & Traffic congestion, lesser by almost half.

Enjoyed the Event, though it looked very difficult at the initial stages as the timings were 10am to 9pm, i.e. 11 hours at a stretch. But there was ample arrangement for Food as well Tea, coffee and so, everyone was enjoying the event with a great smile.
